This statement describes the accessibility features of the website https://treponti.com/ (the “Website”) and the methods by which we comply with the requirements set forth by Legislative Decree No. 82 of May 27, 2022, transposing Directive (EU) 2019/882 (European Accessibility Act).

General Service Description

The Website serves as the digital sales channel for Tre Ponti, through which users can purchase handcrafted Italian-made harnesses, leashes, and accessories for pets. The Website is available in Italian, English, and French. Customers can browse the product catalog, select size and color variants, add items to the cart, and securely complete payments using various methods. The service is accessible via desktop and mobile devices.

Tre Ponti is committed to ensuring the Website is easy to use for everyone. Below is an overview of the main features and their structure:

Compliance with Accessibility Requirements

The Website has been evaluated against the accessibility requirements of Annex I of Legislative Decree 82/2022, with reference to the four principles of WCAG 2.1 Level AA:

  • - Perceivable: Product images include alternative text. Content is structured with hierarchical headings. Product variants are identified both visually and through text, without relying solely on color. For some exceptions, please refer to the "Accessibility Limitations" section.
  • - Operable: The site includes a "skip to main content" link. Navigation between sections and access to content is possible via device navigation controls. For exceptions related to contact forms, please refer to the "Accessibility Limitations" section.
  • - Understandable: Content is written in clear language. The site is available in three languages. Navigation is consistent throughout the site. Error messages in forms identify the field requiring correction.
  • - Robust: The site is developed using standard technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) on the Shopify platform and is compatible with the latest versions of major browsers on desktop and mobile devices.

Evaluation Tool and Compliance Status

Tre Ponti has initiated and concluded a structured process for reviewing and adapting the Website's accessibility with the support of specialized partners. Update works have been planned and entrusted to DMIND S.r.l. (VAT/Tax ID 04141760274), under the operational coordination of Tre Ponti.

The evaluation was conducted using Google Lighthouse. Following this evaluation, the Website is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA due to the non-compliances and/or exemptions listed below.

Accessibility Limitations

The contents listed below are currently not compliant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA for the following reasons:

Contact Form: The contact form on the Website is managed via the “Shopify Forms” application, a component of the Shopify platform. It is technically impossible to intervene directly on its source code. Consequently, the following accessibility errors persist, which are inherent to the app's functionality and cannot be resolved by Tre Ponti:

  • - The main container of the form lacks an accessible name, as the aria-label attribute appears empty in the code generated by the application;
  • - Certain input fields, specifically the message text area, are not associated with a corresponding <label> element, preventing assistive technologies from correctly identifying their function;
  • - The text displayed within the input fields has a contrast ratio with the background that does not comply with WCAG Success Criterion 1.4.3 (Contrast Minimum).

As a third-party component not under the control of the Website owner, it falls under the exclusions provided by Art. 1, paragraph 5, letter d) of Legislative Decree 82/2022. The Website owner has reported these issues to the third-party provider, with the hope that they will be resolved in future application updates.

Further minor discrepancies may emerge during use with assistive technologies. We are committed to verifying and resolving any reported issues.

Monitoring and Continuous Maintenance

This statement will be reviewed annually and upon any significant update to the Website, implementing improvements based on user suggestions.
